Eclipse Staging Dubai Open World's Most Glamorous Hotel with Quest

The Armani Hotel Burj is part of the Burj Khalifa development, the tallest commercial and residential building in the world.

The 6th October saw the opening of The Pavilion an open air facility of The Armani Hotel The pavilion area is located at the foot of The Burj Khalifa and Eclipse Staging Services LLC, was commissioned by The Armani Hotel to provide Audio Visual equipment for the Pavilion extravaganza, which was attended by 650 guests. The event was produced by Eclipse's Richard Scott and Armani's  Geraldine Wong.

Eclipse used a range of newly purchased All White Quest Audio speakers for the sound, together with a Yamaha LS 9/16 digital mixer, supervised by Malcolm Giles.

Lighting was supervised by Eclipse's Lighting Designer Frank Schotman Martin Mac 700 spots and Martin Mac 301 moving LED fixtures on truss towers covered in a white gauze, controlled by a Road Hog Lighting Desk.

2 x Large transparent Martin LC 2140 Plus video screens were provided playing a video taken of the opening of the hotel attended by Mr Georgio Armani.

The Armani venue represented by Geraldine Wong said "the event was a great success, and that the lighting, sound, and video was fantastic". 

The audio was a clever and discrete use of a distributed Quest system using the MS range speakers because of their high power handling and good sonic performance for an all weather system.

Eclipse have also taken delivery recently of a quest QM series monitor system powered by Quest QA series amplifiers. Also Eclipse have a number of QM series compact box systems for high output full range audio installation where discrete low profile audio is required.
